Smart Rules

Smart Rules provide an effective solution for custom and advanced behaviors during interactive scheduling.

Simple rules can be specified as Expressions, which provide basic computation and data lookup capabilities.

Advanced rules are specified as an API URL to a JavaScript library.

  • the TaskAPI Smart Rule is invoked whenever a Task is moved interactively, it can be used to adjust Duration or Workload Interrupts when a task is moved over a closing period or when a Workload is moved to a different resource.
